Soft Skills Program

Soft Skills Programme

Our Skill Development Project is designed to enhance the employability and economic independence of women from economically weaker sections of society. The project enables participants to identify and develop their skills, knowledge, and abilities, empowering them to make informed decisions and build sustainable livelihoods.

The programme adopts a holistic approach to women’s empowerment by combining technical training with personal and professional development. In addition to vocational skills, participants receive training in essential life skills, financial literacy, numeracy, and basic managerial competencies. Special emphasis is placed on soft skills, including business etiquette, communication and language development, personality development, leadership, time management, entrepreneurship, customer relationship management, and basic accounting.

These comprehensive training modules prepare women not only to secure employment but also to become confident, self-reliant, and capable of pursuing self-employment opportunities. As a result of the project, many beneficiaries have successfully found employment in beauty parlours, salons, boutiques, tailoring units, and other service-sector establishments, while several have also started their own small enterprises, contributing to their families’ income and overall socio-economic well-being.
